It's been 11 years since the Chevy Volt made its debut, and we are pleased to see how far this plug-in hybrid has come.
With the release of the 2018 Volt, we decided to do a little research and determine which US States have the most Volt drivers. The results may surprise you. They certainly surprised us!
When you look at total drivers per state, the results seem typical. For the most part, the heavily populated states have the most Volt drivers. However, the per capita breakdown tells a different story.
Washington D.C., West Virginia, Rhode Island, and Wyoming made the "Top 10 States Driving the Chevy Volt (Per Capita)" list, which is most likely the result of tax break incentives and auto insurance discounts offered in those states.
What do you think? Why do you think the Chevy Volt is popular in these areas?
